We're two South African brothers hooked on bass fishing for more than 20 years,

always looking for the biggest, oldest bass in our lakes...

It's hard not to get hooked on this sport when the legendary Albert Falls dam is just 15 minutes away.

With the swimbait scene exploding in the United States in recent years and many

of the better swimbaits not being accessible to us South Africans, we took on

the challenge of designing and hand pouring our own...

​

We designed the 6" ROVER swimbait for the angler in pursuit of larger than average bass

that live in and around heavy cover where most swimbaits cant go...

It has been carefully designed around the powerful Owner Beast hook,

a hook renowned for its sharpness, strength and ability to

keep those giants pinned all the way back to the boat.

The two years spent developing and testing the ROVER yielded some incredible days

on the water with many fish over 3kgs aswell as a number of fish over 4kgs. 

 It gets bit more often than you'd think with some days giving up more than twenty fish.​

The ROVER has given us some of the best fishing days of our lives,

including a giant 5 fish bag weighing in at 18.7kgs (41 lbs) !
